Hi, so this site was a really big help over the past few days, got my son in the doctors this morning and took the readings I've been doing, doctor did a reading on his machine then asked me to do 1 on the machine is had been left, he said there was a slight difference in the readings but not much (is this normal on machines?) anyway he sent me straight to the hospital, they did a reading and it was 4.7 normal I think, we have now been sent home and have to return to the hospital tmoz, he can not eat anything and they are going to do a glucose test, where he will drink a sugery drink :/ hopefully will have answers tmoz, feel abit stupid because they kept asking why I was testing his levels in the first place, bet they thought I was a mad mum 
but if this is ruled out at least I will know, but thank you all for your advice and support u have all been a great help xx
