stomach playing up a little bit recently. Not being sick a little bit sore. Temp is fine.
eat food - going to loo fairly quickly (sub hour). Wouldnt call it diarrhea is relatively soft (better than consitpation which have bouts of) Got given qfit thats been done and handed in waiting results, called GP yesterday, appt 12th jan for that.

last couple of days same foods not having same impact on glucose levels (presuming as not all digested?).

Fasting sugars im sitting around 4-5mmol majority of time, some lows, lift tabs using alongside digsetive biscuit to treat those thinking of switching to fresh orange juice 150ml?

I've increased fluid intake to ensure not dehydrated 3litre+ approx. Switching to more easily digestable foods for today soups/milkshake.

Keeping an eye on ketones slightly lower 1.8 than yesterdays. If ketones go >2.5mmol/L will take a trip to a&e. Aware of dka/edka sympthons if others appear will call nhs24 or pop to a&e.

Is there anything else that I should be perhaps should do differently?

What tablets do you take if any ?
regarding diabetes NIL if i was i would stopping some inhibators. Nor currently any insulin (havent for ages) this was reduced with diabetic dietician advice - Honeymoon lada.

pain killers pregablin, co-codomal (half what prescribed), senna prescribed not took any for around 3 weeks now as not needed any.

Perhaps have a chat with pharmacy if you are not able to get appointment with GP, @grantg.
Co-codamol can have gut problems as a side effect.

only gut issue have had with codein - constipation. been on codomal for around 18 years, using less now than was due to prior constipation. good idea however to ask pharmacist i'll give that a try.

Your GP/DN should have given you a copy of the "sick day rules" for any meds you are on. If not please see if you can find them online

@grantg I cannot take any form of codeine , no matter how small the dosage.Apart from inducing vomiting it also causes me to have a complete disruption of my digestion.
