@catapillar, not being picky but it's been two years since diagnosis. Only mentioning this because it makes it all the stranger...If you stopped taking levemir last night, you probably do still have some insulin in your system.
Do you have a means of testing for ketones? Are you familiar with your correction doses?
Keep regularly checking blood sugar and ketones. If they go up (particularly if you have ketones) you will need to treat with insulin.
Have a chat with your DSN for advice.
Have you been up to anything unusual in the last week? Extra activity, medications? Could you be pregnant? Are you coming down with anything?
If you are only a year diagnosed it could be honeymooning - have you had a cpeptide test?
@catapillar I cannot get pregnant since im a male. Not sure about peptide test or correction doses.
If you have started to feel stressed and becoming very jittery where as before you were not and have tummy issues where you didn't before then I would suspect you could have low cortisol levels. This can be very dangerous in fact life threatening so please see your doctor ASP and do tell him that you have stopped your insulin plus all your other symptoms. Not many GP's have come across Addison's disease so actually mention it to him/her so the ball can start to roll.well health wise im not in a good shape. I have stomach problems all the times. I recently started having panic attacks and started taking "Tavor" for it. First i thought its bcoz of stomach that my glucose levels are so stable. But as i tested it last night, seems like its not related to stomach. Is there any other way that glucose can come down without insulin? like some other illness?
