Hello @jimmyt1988 I haven't had a similar experience, however living with t1d I have learned can be hard when faced with other life pressures, A good friend here in the forum once described it to me as living with a cup that is almost running over, so add other life pressures to the cup and it's easy for it to spill over. Putting things into perspective, my approach is to live day to day, so as mindfully in the present as possible, we cannot change the past and tomorrow hasn't arrived yet, so focus on the stuff within your control on the day to day. Getting obsessed with the numbers and the range can lead to burnout, your intuition knows what to do so try to take your foot off the gas there, give yourself more flex, what would you tell your best friend if they had t1d to do ? Your internal voice should focus on being kind to yourself. What other hobbies/past times you have which will distract you from focusing on your t1d ? I turn to running/gym/yoga/cooking/walking/meditation to get out of my head when things are too much otherwise I get burned out, I have a stressful job and run a little business as well as mum/uber driver on top of t1d, all of these in their own way can burn me so needing an outlet to expel negative energy is vital. Hopefully you will find your way too, best wishes J
