Urination

Check your ketones? If you are going long periods without eating you could have ketones which could cause the need to urinate without having higher sugar levels. There are many reasons to need to go more often though. I would not panic but a chat with your Dr will probably sort you out

If you're worried about your kidneys then get in touch with your GP surgery or diabetic clinic and get them tested.

It could have a myriad of causes, sometime people, especially ladies develop weaker bladders as they age (no idea how old you are!)

Are you drinking a lot of liquids throughout the day? Is the urine normal in appearance, smell, any burning? Don't immediately assume kidney damage but certainly get it checked out as you're obviously worried.

Could be an infection. Drink plenty of water and see your GP.
