Hi all im type 2 diabetic, male,,, and just wanted some info ,, ive had 3 urine infections in the last 4 years ,, is that normal ?

It would depend on the type of infection.
If you're Diabetic and the condition.
Can you give more details ?
If its private that's okay . That's understandable.
It could be anything from the urinary tract, anything in the reproductive system, the kidneys etc.

When you pee is it a dark or light colour, light cour is better. If its dark, it could be a sign that you are not drinking enough fluids and concentracting the pee, and possible building up bacteria causing the infections.

Do you suffer from the cheesey factor around the groin and other areas (some diabetics seam to suffer this more than others) and has this back tracked to cause the infections.

In India diabetes is also known as sweet urine syndrome.
Treated with bitter melon, fenugreek amongst other ayurvedick treatments.
And the cheese factor? That would be smegma.
With good hygiene this shouldn't be a problem, but some infections will increase it's presence.
And yes Red Dwarf did steal the idea of "smeg" as a replacement for other well known expletives so that the Bbc would commission it :wink
