Since I was diagnosed with type two diabetes my urine output has increased. I am waking up about 4 times at night. How can I stop this. Need some rest after a long day at work. I am now getting tired during the day withpout getting enough sleep
Have you been keeping an eye on your blood sugars as high blood glucose levels cause frequent urination and tiredness. Try to avoid eating or drinking anything with allot of carbohydrates about an hour before bed. if you are a cofee drinker have you inceased the amount you are drinking due to thirsty as coffee is a diuretic also causes frequent urination
I can verify that lowering your blood sugar is the best thing you can do to help.
I was diagnosed a short while ago after being up 5-6 times during the night for a few days.
Since I started an all-out assault on sugar (and therefore carbs) I'm a LOT better in that department.
Hope you're feeling better soon!
