Anbody know if there are restrictions on type 1 car hire in the US? Last time I used Hertz in the US was before I had the condition. I was hoping to hire at Cleveland Ohio for a few weeks and am not sure about legal requirements and insurance.

I searched high and low before I went to FL in October. Couldn't find the answer on the web and ended up taking the view that if I followed the same rules as I do in England I wouldn't go far wrong. National didn't ask me any health questions.

I think @TorqPenderloin is in the US so he may be able to offer better advice.
