Used wrong insulin.

Folks,

I have gestational diabetes and have been injecting insulin for 18 weeks. Tonight by total error I have used my humalog (16mls) instead of on humalin i before bed. I've just eaten a load of carbs to try and balance it out, but worried about going to bed withouty humalin incase I hypo.

What should i do??n

I am on humalin I, but also novo rapid as my fast acting.

If its the fast acting you have taken I would make sure I had enough carbs to counteract and keep testing.
Do you have anyone with you? Make sure u have glucose and carbs on hand as that is the only way to correct an overdose. How much would u normally take of humalog with food? How much extra than a normal meal have you had?

Do you have a bleep number for your DSN? If you can call someone from you care team, please do so.
