Hi guys
Anyone use more than one meter/use different meters for different times? I've got the Aviva Expert meter (and a CareSens Dual but I only use that for ketone readings). However I'm going away in June and thought I might get something more pocket sized for having out and about as I'll probably be pretty active. My first thought was to get an Accu-chek Aviva Nano because they use the same strips as my Expert but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere - not sure if it's been discontinued. I could get different strips if needed though that isn't my issue.
What I was wondering about is having data on more than one device - I record my bgl in a spreadsheet anyway but it seems quite important to have everything put into my Expert for the bolus advice. SO, does anyone use multiple meters (e.g. a pocket sized one when you're away) and if so how do you deal with having the data spread across them? I guess the easiest thing might be to commit to using a small meter for the entire holiday - provided I'm happy with the readings it gives me - and just switch back to the Expert when I get home?
Thanks!
