Sorry you feel rough, @SunnyExpat .I've been working, pretty warm, no air con, and putting together flat pack furniture for 6 hours or so. (said about 200kg worth on the boxes)
I've been drinking water, on reflection, not much, but I've not really been sweating either.
I've not eaten anything at all.
I stopped because I started to feel ill. Actually sick type ill, and decided my BG in case I was low, even though it doesn't normally make me feel sick.
8.6! I tested twice to be sure.
That's after the gym yesterday so I would expect to be lower today if anything.
So, 8.6 after at least 6 hours fast, I don't go that high after food, so that must have some spectacular liver dump there.
That'll teach me to say I enjoy the heat!
Sorry you feel rough, @SunnyExpat .
Would this 'randomness' from your post last night be a contributory factor?
Scrabble, hats and apple pie
Hope you feel better soon. Plenty of water, and a nice bacon, egg, and sausage breakfast usually helps.

Usually exrcise causes stress on the body and will ocassionally cause a spike.

As someone who's is not knowledgeable about what you have as I'm not diabetic!
But for some, fasting and exercising would definitely make your liver respond.
However and just a thought, you may be allergic to work!
