At the end of May my first diagnose has indicate A1c 18
After 20 days of diet the insulin injections stopped and continue with pills
At July i start cardio exercise (Treadmill) and gradually continue only with Glucophage.
I check A1C at 02/08 and it has dropped to 6.9
Since then i continue with lo carb diet, 5-6 hours cardio training per week ( 16 kilos lost from May, now BMI is 25.05, it was 29.9)
I test my A1C two days ago and it has dropped again to 3.7 !!!!
My doctor is not available and i will communicate with him tomorrow.
Do you have any experience from so low A1C ??
Very well done, but just a word of caution. You say "you" checked your A1c. How did you do that? Was that a hoospital or clinic blood test, or something you did yourself? If you did it yourself, are you sure you're measuring A1c, or are you just using a finger prick type meter to get a blood test?
Thank you guys,
My way is strictly low carb diet (1300 - 1500 calories per day) and a lot of cardio exercise with the use of a hard rate monitor.
The A1c has measured in the hospital
What is frightening me is how to continue with that effort for the rest of my life :?: :?: .
Diabetes has change my life for sure
