Very low calorie diets/ shakes

Asking for a friend who’s also type 2 diabetic with a need to lose weight quickly; her GP is happy for her to do a liquid diet for 3 months but needs to know how to access the shakes etc or what the name for them is please!?

I followed the Newcastle diet when I was diagnosed- you can google it. I couldn’t find the shakes they used so went with Asda brand which did the job for me. I wish your friend well in the endeavor
