Hey, I think I just wanna tell everyone how happy I am!
I rang for my hba1c results today that I had done last week (my last result in jan before I got my pump was 66) and I'm now 51!!!!
I know I can still improve that but I'm just sooooo over the moon with bringing it down that far in a few months!
I can't imagine life without my pump (even when I occasionally wanna throw it out the window when it goes a bit silly) it's thanks to having the pump that I've got down to 51, that's the best my a1c has ever been... EVER!!
I think the moral or the story is, if your unsure of getting a pump, for whatever reason (I had loads of reasons I didn't want it but decided to just give it a go in the end) just do it! My hospital had a loan one so I was lucky I could try that first, I know pumps aren't suitable for everyone but I could never go back to injections now - even when it gets on my nerves a little - especially after these results!
