I was just wondering if this is related to T1?
I have such dry hands due to my circulation and the cold weather, they re literally raw and hurt to move.
i also get very very cold whenever i have a high blood sugar, i was wondering if this is a common symptom?
Have you been checked for Reynaud's Syndrome? Seems to be a quite common comorbidity of Type 1 judging by the number of posts I've read here over the years.

@hollyslot I find high sugars can cause dry skin too. It doesn't have to be really high for me.mjust a few days of slightly higher sugars can have an effect. I try to drink plenty of water and I use a good quality hand cream frequently.
If your hands are that painful though, it may be worth getting them looked at in case you need a stronger cream or in case you have some kind of irritation or dermatitis.
Yes I believe it can be linked to high blood sugars. My hands get cuts in them and go so raw in winter. Doesn't help that I'm a PE teacher too! Bleugh!
