Hi
i am a type 2 diabetic since 2003, and over the last 3 to 4 months my sugars have been all over the place, i have had to increase all my meds.
I was taking 2000mg metformine and glimapride (sorry about spelling) but now my nurse has told me all about victosa and i wanted to give it a try, so had to stop glimapride to start it, as it may lower my sugars to far.
I injected my first dose yesterday .

Has any one else took victosa, and did it work for you ?

Not a Victoza user myself but there are a number of people on the forum who do use Victoza

Victoza's meant to be good for people who need help losing weight.

I gather there may be some initial side effects but I think pass in most people (similar to metformin in that regard)

I understand there's now a forum for Victoza and similar injectable medication
