Is anyone been using Victoza, and if so how are they finding it?
I took my first dose last night (17th Oct. 2010)
First result was my evening meal registered at 11.9 down from 23.0 the previous night on no insulin. Have had a bloated stomach and severe heartburn. Hoping it will go away with-in two weeks, as that is what I was told.
 
There is a growing thread here in the 'Diabetes Medication and Drugs section entitled VICTOZA which is where you will find much information from users of this drug which is not an Insulin BTW. Did your prescriber not explain to you exactly what it is and how it works ?

Most people find that any side effects subside quite quickly although there are some who have had difficulty. Have a read of the thread. Ask any questions there too. There is always someone with an answer.
