I'm new to the forums so apologise if I am asking this in the wrong section.
I use Victoza and know that it has to be kept in the fridge until I need to use a new pen. My question is, in this heat will the current pen I am using be ok in my bag? Fairly new to using it so worried that it may get too hot!
I've had this problem as, I suspect, have most diabetics trying to keep injections cool in this country lately.
There is a thread somewhere on the forum here that mentions Frio bags. If you use the search function you'll find it. I can't work out how to post a link on my phone, sorry.
Anyway I bought one a week ago and it's been amazing. You soak it in cold water and it keeps injections cool for around 48 hours and then you re-soak it and it's good for another 48 hours etc etc. It's like a little squishy pouch inside a special bag that allows it to 'breathe'.... I swear it's magic!! Haha!!
Friouk.com is the official website I think, but I got mine cheaper on amazon. Look for the thread and there's all the links & discussion on there.
