Victoza

I have just heard about the USA FDA investigating alleged links between Victoza (and similar drugs) and pancreatic cancer and also thyroid tumours which may be cancerous.
Anyone got any more information about this ?
I am rather concerned because my wife is on Victoza injections of 1.2 per day in addition to insulin, which has enabled her to cut her daily insulin jabs down from 2 x 40 to 2 x 12.

I am on victoza I would suggest ur wife tlk 2 dn nurse or dr as I cont to use it in preference hope u get ans u need

l was on victoza for 10 days when l has a lump in my throat l had told the doctor that my younger sister has had thyroid cancer, but he still prescribed it for me. l had an x-ray on my throat and was told l had thyroid noodules. l had to have them drained and they were benign, l came off victoza and now no metformin 2x500 and linctus insulin.
