Vidagliptin 50mg

My FBS reading after taking Vidagliptin is 176 yesterday and 170 today .Please help.

A few questions. First are you normal or overweight? Was the Metformin the Slow Release (SR or MR) version. If it was the ordinary version, the SR version may give less stomach trouble but does cost a bit more. Neither Metformin nor the Vidagliptin will make a big difference to your blood sugar so I'm surprised on those doses that you have seen much of a change. What were your FBS readings before the change? I'm guessing a bit here but are overweight? If so then reducing carbs in the diet may help a lot. Apologies if you are already doing this. Can you let us have more information

Sir,
My height is 173 cm and weight 76kg .I was taking metformin SR before swiching to Vidagliptin. My FBS readings before the change was 110-120.Last HBA1C was 7.
Thanks
