I have recently lowered my BS to relatively "normal" levels and have noticed quite a few favourable changes. But one thing is really strange - when my BS were high, I had difficulty with distance vision, everything was a bit fuzzy, whereas now my distance vision is much improved, but everything close to is fuzzy. I wear glasses for reading, and they now don't do the job they were doing before. Is this normal?
yeah i had that too, long distance vision improved to perfect and i couldn't focus on close up things when i first got my sugars down. only lasted a few weeks though and now i'm back to my pre diabetic eyes. so i gotta get my glasses back out again for the cinema.
Here is a link to my previous post regarding this subject which I posted a short while ago. My improvement was spectacular and ongoing. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=9353#p87914
Thanks everyone. It's the fact that my vision problems reversed in the space of week that was strange. It wasn't just getting older that caused the problem!!!
