I would like to know whether anyone can help me or provide further information.
I have an older relative visiting from Mexico April this year. She is concerned that her insulin may be damaged or lost during her flight and - as a precaution rather than a necessity - would like to know how she would go about obtaining additional medication for the three weeks she is here. Is it a case where she would visit the GP and he/she would issue an emergency prescription for the duration of her visit or would it be necessary to purchase it privately? Would she need to bring evidence of her condition?
