Hello,
Has anyone had this happen to them.
This morning my BG upon waking was 93, which is good for me. I ate a LCHF breakfast, took my usual vitamins, but this time I added 1.5g of ascorbic acid powder. 1 hour later my BG was at 145, which is extremely high.
I was told to take 6g of vitamin C per day, and have been doing just fine on it, but it was the capsule form rose hips and acerola cherries.
Any idea why the powder would do this?

I am just curious as to why the capsules don't spike me, but the powder does. Could it be that the powder is not the natural form?Vitamin c raises me a bunch. I can't drink tea with rose hips either.
