Wow, I didn't know this but it explains why I had a craving for curly kale and other leafy green veg when I was taking a vitamin D supplement. Thank you.If you take Vit D, you should also supplement with Vit K, its too complicated to explain why, but Google it.
To mention specifically, its vitamin K2 which is present in fermented dairy products rather than in green leafy veg. It helps in the proper distribution of calcium in the body- strong bones & prevents calcification of blood vessels.Wow, I didn't know this but it explains why I had a craving for curly kale and other leafy green veg when I was taking a vitamin D supplement. I've also heard people mention that magnesium should be taken along with vit D.... but again, not entirely sure why!If you take Vit D, you should also supplement with Vit K, its too complicated to explain why, but Google it.
I take codliver oil capsules which also contains vitamin D.Should I take that into account as vitamin D?If you are going to take a vit D supplement it is a good idea to have your serum calcium checked because you shouldnt take D with a high serum calcium
