Has anyone noticed an improvement with neuropathy having taken Vit D? I started taking a daily dose a few weeks ago and the neurpoathy pain I was experiencing has improved to such an extent that I now get very little pain and the discomfort which used to keep me awake at night has almost gone.

I've been taking big doses of D3 for years and it's helped with my overall health enormously.

Costco sell D3 in massive pots for £3 and they are the gel caps.

I also take extra Vit D. Some in capsules with calcium on prescription, and to boost that I buy the spray from Holland and Barrett. Like Wiflib said I feel tons better in all ways, especially energy.

I'm wondering if I'm lacking on the Vit D front now, starting to feel lethargic and a little bit low mentally and my joints are aching a bit, this weathers not helping, what is a good therapeutical daily dose to take?

Thanks for all your comments and suggestions.

My Vit D which should be 30+, preferably 50, has been 7 for years.

Have eaten loads of tabs, then had loads of injections. Nothing makes it go up. No sun, no meds, no nothing as they say.

No clue where it goes, lol.

But then I also don't have neuropathy, luckily!

I just find it curious that it has no measurable effect on me to get 100.000 units injected into my bacon, lol.
