Vomiting With Glucophage Sr

Did you try standard Glucophage before moving to SR?
I haven't had the vomiting experience, though I did have problems with something in the extended release metformin. Ended up with bleeding gastritis and subsequent low iron from the bleeding. Something in the formulation was eroding my stomach lining.
I'm actually considering trying the normal version as I went straight to SR which with hindsight I now think was a mistake.

No I’ve been on the SR since diagnosis. I’ve had my dosage upped 2 weeks ago to 2000mg a day. Felt a bit more tired but that’s to be expected really with initial change. Otherwise feeling well, but it was so random. And fully formed tablets but just gone jelly like and there was 4 so two days. I mean do they not dissolve?

I think it's the casing. I've heard of people seeing them when they come out the other end as well
