Just to say when i first started trying to get pregnant 11 years ago i called around quite a few hospitals to decide which was best for me. I wanted to knowehat they offered in terms of care, what week of pregnancy you could go to, attitudes towards delivery and hba1c requirements. My hospital required 7. Another required 6. There's quite a lot of views out there obviously. ......
These were both specialist hospitals .
The more important thing is what makes up your hba1c. Are you sitting at a steady 7 with mot huge post meal highs or are you getting lots of highs and lows to get that number. Only a cgm or libre will give you that info.
