I have made a great discovery. Was looking around the shops & found Gullon Sugar free chocolate flavoured waver biscuits. I thought why not. But before I ate, I checked my sugars & they were 7.2 before eating. I didn't take any insulin. I opened the packaged & inside were individual packets of 8 mini wafers. I ate the lot lol. I checked my sugars 2 n half hours later. 7.4. They literally only rose 0.2.

I've not tried the other's as I just bought the wafers. They sell them in 99p stores, Poundland & I think other discount stores.

Here's the site for them http://www.gullon.es/en

Worth a try & see how you get on first without insulin. Just don't be stupid like me & eat the entire packet. But it's safer to have 1 or 2 without insulin than it is to take it & find out your dropping like a stone!

If anyone's is or has tried these. I'd love to know if they are as good for you as they are for me!

Hi VsUK
That sounds very promising However, I'm wondering what happened to your glucose levels, during the 2.5 hours???

Well I'm pretty sure my sugars can't rise beyond 9.4 & drop again within the 2 & half hours without insulin considering the quantity I ate lol.

I love them and have the vanilla cream ones as well also the shortcake ones I usually only eat a couple in the evening with a cup of tea. My husband has the sugar free digestives ones
