So sorry to hear this .. FB warnings have been sharing this information via RSPCA ..One of our cats has been poisoned, and sadly has died. The vet thinks that he drank some anti-freeze - it's a risk at this time of year because obviously everyone is topping up their car radiators, and I guess someone either spilled some, or left an open container lying about. This is really just to warn you all to keep an eye open.....
The only consolation is that he didn't suffer much, but we will miss him.

Just one further thing. We have another cat and the two of them have never really got on. Archie - the one who has died - arrived a couple of years after Fergus and with hindsight we didn't handle settling him in very well, with the result that Fergus has always been quite aggressive (just growling and hissing, not tearing lumps out of each other). However, Fergus is definitely a bit confused and put out by Archie's absence and is staying close to home. Particularly when the radiators are on
My cat has started to drink out of the toilet, dont know why as he always has fresh water in his bowl.
I now dont put bleach in or other detergent,I have started to clean it with a used lemon,we should keep the door closed but dont always remember.
