type 2 diabetic since jan 2012 just felt dissy and felt sick tested my blood and it was 4.0, wife made me drink a bottle of lucozade, now feel better i am taking metaformin sr and glicacide 80mg twice a day, just wondering if it was the start of a hypo, if it was i dont want to feel like that again, any help usefull, thanks mick.

Hi Mick, does sound like it could have been a hypo. Everyone gets different symptoms but they sound very similar to the symptoms I get. I tend to feel dizzy, very warm, sight gets a bit blurry etc. Sometimes feels like I've had too much to drink - can make it hard to tell if I have had a drink.

Sounds as if you were heading towards a hypo. Just a bit of advise though please do not drink a bottle of lucozade :shock: You will end up with a very high blood sugar reading for your pains. 100ml is more than enough to fix a hypo
