weak left hand grip

Have a Doctors appointment booked but cant get one until July 22nd. Had a sore shoulder this pain gradually left but now i have a weak grip with left hand and fingers twitch a little when hand is extended. Has anyone had anything simillar , im thinking this is a nerve issue but when googled scary stuff omes up.
