Hello fellow diabetics!

I'm a 25 year old male who weighs around 9stone8 - 9stone 12, I'm small build and recently have really started to get on top of my diabeties levels. I work as an engineer and always on my feet doing a lot of manual labour and eat quite well although I never seen to put weight on!?

I have thought about buying weight gain from holland and Barrett but wouldn't know if with injections and trying to regulate it this would work as if the sudden spike in sugar levels would surly effect the process and probably result in me urinating the product away?

Any ideas

I'm not an expert but have some experience similar to your own. Am naturally an ectomorph so my body type is slender regardless of what i eat. Have tried weight gain shakes before i was diabetic for months at a time. Didnt really do anything to be honest apart from burn a hole in my back pocket. And that was on top of a high calorie diet. So my solution was to build muscle instead of trying to manage fat. Which brought alot of benefits aswell as the weight gain i wanted. So would suggest a healthy diet. Never let yourself go hungry. And hit the gym :-)
