I graze too, it helps me feel satisfied and since it's things like cheese or a spoonful of clotted cream I don't have to worry about carbs. I lost 3kg in the first 2 weeks and have stayed the same for the last week but I'm not too worried, I know it will pick up again. Good luck with the nurse visit. I'm sure she will be pleased with your progress, even with this slight bump in the road.It could be I'm not drinking quite as much by 2/3 glasses. Portion sizes are small. I weigh as much as I can. I'm going to have a look at my food diary and bg to see if anything stands out. I have been a little cold, and nibble through the day, olives, nuts, a bit of cheese. My sugars tend to be better if I graze. I see the nurse on Thursday for a second time in 4 weeks for a weigh in and check.
I'm a bit down today. I've been doing so well with weight loss on 30 carbs and 1200 cals a day. 2 stone 1lb lost apart from today's weigh in, I've put on 3lb! I don't understand, plateauing is one thing, putting on weight is another. I have lots of weight to lose. My fasting bg recently has been 7.5 - 8.8. I feel ok, but cannot understand the weight gain and the rise in fasting bg. What can I do to get back on track please?
