Im type 1, can I use weight loss shakes? Im thinking about having 1 a day for breakfast as they are low in carbs. Thanks

'weight loss shakes' Is typically just meal replacements... I see no reason why you can't have them as long as you adjust your insulin intake to account for them.

Meal replacements, that's what I meant, I just couldn't remember the proper term haha thank you

As long as you bolus accordingly it should be fine.

if you are in a rush..if you have some boiled eggs in the fridge, a couple of those are the perfect low carb breakfast, now that the gov have said dietary cholesterol is not a problem. some bolus for about half of the protein

back to make-out food then
being liquid, mostly simple carbs. they may spike quick, some may need to be careful they don't over bolus

Thanks jack, if I decide to buy some I'll be really careful

Things like Slimfast are full of carbs, unexpectedly so, just a heads up.

I thought they were all full of sugar and caused a spike in BS? I had a look at juice plus but sugars in it, I need to lose 2 stone so any successful ideas let me know! I'm doing low carb and exercise.

My cousin owns her own brand of supplements which include meal replacement shakes: These are the nutritional figures for the shakes:

Hi. Although you can Bolus to match the carbs that can cause weight gain if the carbs are high, but as you said it's low-carb so should be fine.
