Weird feeling tonight

Type of diabetes
Don't have diabetes
Made dinner and had

Roast chicken
Cauliflower
broccoli
With cheese

I made sweet potato mash for the others and licked the tiniest bit of the spoon.

Have started having weird hypo symptoms after eating but my bg was 6.6 after an hour and 6.8 after two. Feel a bit dizzy and shaky and anxious and shivery.

Don't know what is going on but I feel like I am having a hypo without the relevant bg numbers.

Anyone else ever have this?

I also have tummy ache and indigestion and tingling in my hand which has eased now.

Feel better this morning I hope?
I'll give this a bump to get some input.
I've read your post on fainting hypos. Could it all be related?

Thanks Deejay.

Yes I do thanks. It was definitely meal
related and I think I may have a form
of reactive hypoglycaemia that is connected to dumping syndrome although not as severe as some. I also think gluten is not my friend!! No more trialling gluten for me

I've been rattling my brain what it could be!
I'm rather reluctant to speculate but it could be you adapting to lower carbs or it could be as you say related to gluten or something like coliac (is that who it's spelt?)
It is definitely food rated and how you are metabolising your food.
But what it is? Not certain! Maybe brun has an idea!

Feeling better now thanks just walked three miles in 52 mins.....feeling happy.

Think we may be having a bug as my grandad ended up in a and e with chest pains wind and anxiety in Friday night and had a funny tummy and dizziness. My daughter and I both had tummy ache anxiety and wind last night. Odd set of symptoms but it's too co incidental!!
