Good morning, folks.
As you may be aware, this week is Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Week. Relating to that, our PR company have been in touch with The Daily Mail, who are running a piece next week highlighting the sheer number of people who are being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, in their Good Health section.
They would like to feature around 5 newly diagnosed (
must be in 2019) individuals to interview on the telephone about their journey to diagnosis and how they are coping with it, and any lifestyle changes they are now making .
This would involve a short telephone interview and being photographed this week. The PR company send a photographer out at a pre-agreed convenient time.
Each person featured will receive £100 for their time and trouble.
If you are interested in being included, could you please email
forum@diabetes.co.uk as soon as possible, and you will be put in touch with the relevant parties?
Many thanks.
