Good morning, folks.

As you may be aware, this week is Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Week. Relating to that, our PR company have been in touch with The Daily Mail, who are running a piece next week highlighting the sheer number of people who are being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, in their Good Health section.

They would like to feature around 5 newly diagnosed (must be in 2019) individuals to interview on the telephone about their journey to diagnosis and how they are coping with it, and any lifestyle changes they are now making .

This would involve a short telephone interview and being photographed this week. The PR company send a photographer out at a pre-agreed convenient time.

Each person featured will receive £100 for their time and trouble.

If you are interested in being included, could you please email forum@diabetes.co.uk as soon as possible, and you will be put in touch with the relevant parties?

If only i'd waited for the January sales, instead of getting diagnosed in time for Christmas.
