Hello!

I'm just curious... Is anyone going to the DiabetesUK care event in London this Saturday??

I am! But I'm so nervous as I'll be on my own

I'm taking a 3 hour train journey just to meet other diabetics!

There are NO groups in my area.

Woo! I'm going to this. Only got diagnosed around 4 months so really want to actually meet other type 1s also I live in London so it's much less of a trek for me hahah

Hi Sarah, how was it? Wish I'd seen it sooner as I would definitely have attended!! Like you we don't really have any groups in our area that cater for T1 so I'm in the process of setting one up!! Not sure where you are but I'm in Dorset xxx
