After two or three days of struggling to find a way to communicate myself, I've finally found the new topic option, so here I am! I am totally blind and amusing the phone app, but have found various parts that don't work very well. That is, they don't work very well with speech!
I am here because I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes in December and am finding already this forum to be very useful, so please bear with me, because I won't be able to do things as well as you all can i'm there are many things that I may not even fathom out!
I have tried also on the computer, because I would prefer to use that for long messages, but that is hopeless! Nothing reads very well!
Let me tell you about myself. I am 65 now, and have a wonderful husband called Mike. He is being very supportive over my diabetes and has stopped eating chocolate in front of me! He has also lost weight because he is, by and large, following my diet though sometimes he has what he wants instead. He can't see either, so I do most of the cooking, which is part of the reason that he is eating the same things as myself! Smiley
In my next post I will try to outline some of the difficulties we are having with my diabetes and ask for some help! That's probably enough for this time and I apologise that maybe I have gone a little off topic and rambled a bit!
