I haven’t really come out of lockdown yet except for a visit to our favourite bistro a few times as we know they are extra conscious and have been excellent throughout lockdown. I’ve had a few walks but not gone anywhere else. We are however in a coastal resort and Some residents worry about the visitors. I do find though that the longer I stay indoors the more I’m not interested in going out. I miss my friends two in particular one just diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer who I may never see again and the other with multiple conditions whose mental state is very variable. My beloved has been working from home nd had been told he would be last back into the office because of my vulnerability then yesterday was told to go back to the office from next Tuesday. He’s retiring on the 31st of December, is was to be the end of this month. But was asked to stay on longer to continue to train others. Should a second lockdown come I shall adhere to it but watching groups of 8,9 and 10 walk down to the beach yesterday I worry if they are going to bother to stick to any of the advice.
