It’s a must jay, and if my skin’s softer and sweeter too then what a delight!
Have you tried Avon Skin so Soft? Apparently biting insects really don't like it, so it's an excellent repellent, even though it wasn't originally designed to be one. I haven't tried it myself but have heard it recommended on several occasions by diverse people.

Thanks for reminding me @jay hay-char ....used to sell Avon myself once and this was a well known side effect of Skin so Soft....have got some in my cupboard somewhere so will go and seek it out...

Ian,some recommended advice for neuropathy,bathe your feet/ hands in water that is neither hot or cold and if you shower just tepid so as not to inflame the nerves,hope it helps( if your not already doing)
