What are you doing now and humorous banter.

Waiting with @Clivethedrive for his diabetic eye screening appointment....they are running late with computer problems....back again this afternoon for blood test appointment to see diabetic nurse in a couple of weeks time...
....what fun we have when he gets a day off...
 
Good morning all

Cloudy here with a chance of meatballs (for those that havent seen it well its worth a giggle)

I have granddaughter number 2 today and possibly granddaughter number 1 from school. Depends on if hubby says yes to collecting her from school. Daughter number 1 at the passport office for an interview. She has had to prove that I'm English (must be the stupid name my parents gave me) and they couldnt find details of my British passport on their system. (Yes British not EU thats how old it is). She will probably sit there and say 'no comment/ no idea / dont know' to all the questions. Oh the joys.

So an afternoon of mayhem courtesy of a 14 month old baby and a nearly 9 year old.

Had a visit to Carlisle Castle today to see the poppy display
Each Poppy represents a life lost in the First World War of 22,000 who signed up from the city 6,874 died
