Had a visit to Carlisle Castle today to see the poppy display
Each Poppy represents a life lost in the First World War of 22,000 who signed up from the city 6,874 died

Morening folks another day of chaos and mayhem in the planning stages here at the moment.

Hi all

Rain here so washing in the tumble dryer. Birds all squawking for more food. I'm sure the tweets are 'feed me, feed me, feed me now'

Not doing much today after our day of babysitting yesterday. Have to drop stepson to the station and pop in on my other daughter but nothing too strenuous.

Hubby off to another tribute concert tomorrow (think AC/DC) so I'm home with a bottle of wine and some tv or a book.

Oh and diet class was positive - another 3 1/2 pounds off and into a new stone bracket. So 2 1/2 pounds now to 2 stone. Happy days

Oh well back to the grindstone

Came out of work and came the cafe for lunch then a bit of shopping if i went home i wouldnt of came bk out had a chicken salad panini and a black coffee .funish this fag and go the shops weather nice an sunny

Arrived in the little town of Flam this morning.
Up at sparrows fa£t to take pictures of the 29 km long and quite narrow, Aurlandsfjord.
After a short hike we had a ride on the Flam railway to Myrdal and back. Smashing.
