ty @Molly56 We did get a dress, and a veil, and a underskirt and a box to store it all in. Came to half the price of the other dress she had set her heart on. She tried on something similar to the dress she liked but decided it made her look 'too childlike', whereas the dress she has chosen makes her feel like a bride. So no only head piece (for when the veil comes off), shoes and undies and her outfit is complete. I think she was overwhelmed by her own reaction and mine. I've asked if she has buyers remorse this morning and the answer is no so all good there. If I new how to transfer the half complete photo from my phone to here I'd show you. As for second marriages - that's where I'm at. I was married to my daughters' father but that broke down and I'm now married to a man called Ian. (He's been married before and has 2 sons). We decided on something low key too and did a lot of the stuff for the wedding ourselves like invites, placecards, banners. We did splash out on a few things but our wedding day wasnt what we hoped with warring families and other things. Would I do it again? Oh gosh no. We hit our 10 year anniversary n 2016 and we were going to renew our vows and have a party but decided again against it due to certain family members. I like wedding cake but I can now buy a plain iced fruit cake in Tesco so if I feel like my mind is wandering towards wedding cake I'll go buy one of those :p
