Type 1 what can i eat

Can anyone tell me if I can have chicken Kiev or is this a no no, I am a newbie of about 72 hours,
 
Hi. It should be fine. Some will say to keep the saturated fats down but it's good to have a sensible amount of fats of different types in the diet.
 
Technically speaking, you can eat anything provided you give the correct amount of insulin.

Try to eat healthy, but as long as you do the correct dosage, almost everything will be fine.

hi there -- welcome to the forum
you new best friend is your blood glucose meter -- it will guide you on what you can eat.
as you have posted in the type 1 section you will be taking insulin which widens the eating possibilities but the meter never lies --

take things a day at a time -- try not to worry and keep posting here-- there are lots of great people on this forum
