What can I take to relieve my cough

Anyone found a good sugar free cough remedy,the only one ive found is Robbitussin but its for chesty coughs and mine is tickly and so it does not work :?: :?:

Always been prescribed Pavacol D which is a sugar-free linctus but also have a lot of faith in tincture of echinacia which I buy at Health Food shops. I add this to drinks and it strenthens your immune system. Today another Chemist gave me another preparation, which is also sugar-free so go and see your Chemist and if it gets bad and goes to your chest, see your Doctor. Colds and coughs can cause problems in diabetics and you may need antibiotics, so pse take care.
