Last week Wednesday my fasting mmol was 11.6.
After starting Dr Mosley Blood Sugar Diet with intermittent fasting...7 days later this morning it's 5.0 which has never happened even when I was taking metformin.
What do I do now to not let it get too low. I'm on no medication at all
Very well done - continue to monitor your levels. Just be aware of going down too low (mine was 3.7 at the lowest (my hands would shake) - at which point the dietician said I could come off my meds). 5 is bang on the midline for normal BS levels first thing (4-7).

Thanks nicksue
My doctor had given me 7 Weeks till the end of June for my next Hba1c or it will be forced metformin down my throat or dismissed from her surgery. In 7 days to normal non diabetic range wow
Cheeky doctor! The question is could you take it even if you had to?! I couldn't myself - the gastro problems came to haunt me after 2 weeks of feeling vaguely nauseous. Keep on with it - it will show in your improved HBAC1 test and then you can feel very smug! I swear some doctors don't like us to take charge of our health.

That's right... nearly all doctors see metformin only which I've not taken for many years. No doctor told me about ketogenic diet. Dr Furhman got me thinking about alternate ways but I'm not vegan lol
