Hi everybody,
I need some advice,
Decided to phone Haley and give her the choice of what she wanted to do this summer! As we were going to travel up so I could have a bit of time with Haley!
My mum answered the phone and told me that Haley has had a second heart attack and is in hospital!
I have phoned the hospital and she is stable at the minute!
I am scared as this is her second one now! I am scared of what to do next! I asked my mum why she did not tell me, she said nothing to do with you! She is my partner!
I am sorry I bit her head off, I said she is my 2nd mum! More of a mum than you have ever been! I just said bye and put phone down! I am scared that she will become unwell and it will be all my fault!
I feel so guilty!
I am doing not too bad!
My blood sugar this morning was 7.8... I had some lunch of a tuna salad and blood sugar dropped down 2 hours after to 6.8... I had not had breakfast as I was too upset!
I am having tuna salad for evening meal tonight! My question is... Is it okay for me to have tuna twice in one day?
Sandy

I'm sure it's quite ok to have tuna salad twice in one day,Sandy!!I often have salad twice in one day at this time of year!!I'm sorry to hear about Haley, I hope she will be ok.

To answer the tuna questions, it's fine to eat tuna twice in one day if that's what you want. On a general note, it's advisable for female children and women of child-bearing age to limit their intake of oily fish to about 2 portions a week. This is because oily fish can contain dioxons and PCB's through pollution and over-consumption over a long period of time MAY lead to a build up of toxins in the body which may interfere with reproduction.

Men, boys and women over child-bearing age can eat up to 4 portions of oily fish a week.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles and hope things get better for you soon.

If you get bored with the tuna try some red or pink salmon or crab, both of which you can get in tins, or prawns which are best frozen.

Oh dear, you ARE having a bad time. :( Don't blame yourself for other people getting old! Whatever you do they always wear out eventually.
