What do I try next?

Hi Sixpence great name btw. Re hair loss on LCHF I had this about 6-9mnths into LCHF so while my weight and BG levels were reducing so was my hair. I got my thyroid checked which was fine, did some research and found Biotin could help so I put myself on a good quality High Potency Vit B complex (Solgar) which incudes Biotin and B12 .I also went on high potency fish oils. Its taken a few months but my hair and skin are back! I posted a thread about hair loss on here and discovered lots of others had the same experience but it wasnt permanent. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
PS. I am one of these people that with cant swallow large pills/capsules easily so I get the half strength which are smaller and take 2.

@Sixpence please do get a baseline set of bloods though. At least then you have some data to compare along the way.

Hi, after all your support and encouragement this week I thought I'd share with you how I'm doing. I've cut back on my carbs and haven't had any grains or dairy. It's been tough again - constant headache, waves of nausea and hunger. However, it has paid off because since Tuesday morning I've lost 2.6 pounds and on while Tuesday morning my FBG was 7.3 and today it's 5.4 which is the first normal range FBG I've had for months. Now I just have to keep going.

It's two years today since I was diagnosed T2 and it's been an interesting and challenging time. Thanks for being here <3

Are you having enough salt? Often the cause of headaches etc.. if you are cutting foods that usually have salt then maybe adding some more into what you are eating/drinking might help.
