I was a bit skeptical of having a Kindle, I love the having books around and thought I wouldn't like it. Hubby bought me one for Christmas and I love it. I can't see it replacing books altogether, I love browsing through cookery books, gardening books and art books. It does replace paperbacks though. It's so easy to carry around and read in bed as there is very little weight to it. The only problem is every evening I HAVE to trawl through the free books on Amazon and download the ones that I fancy!!!  So glad I've got one! Ann
