When I need something sweet but don't want to upset my blood glucose I eat a prepared sugar free jelly with a large dollop of aerosol cream on top, regardless of time of day!
What options does everyone else have?
I haven't tried Burgen bread yet but used to love nutella and I am not at all convinced I could just spread some on one slice....
It's the chocoholic in me.
People who think they are always right and ram their opinions down your throat. No-one knows everything. Those who shout loudest are usually the ones who actually know the least.
I'll reach for a teaspoon of peanut butter (just crushed nuts with nothing added) eaten straight off the spoon, or a piece of 85% Lindt chocolate... allowed to melt slowly in my mouth
Pianoman, spread a bit of that peanut butter on your square of chocolate.
Or blend equal amouns of peanut butter and butter together with sweetener to taste if required and keep that in the fridge. With the same mix, freeze small balls of it and then coat in melted choc. Don't leave out at room temp though.
A small biscuit
I have some Ikeep for the babies which don't contain many carbs if you eat just 1
Lidl and the 99p shop are good places to find stuff. I check the labels before buying and I know Ican keep to just 1
an alternative is a low carb fizzy drink
